1 1 Section 1. NEW SECTION. 279.58 PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS.
1 2 The board of directors of each school district shall
1 3 require that in addition to the immunizations required under
1 4 section 139.9, each pupil entering kindergarten shall present
1 5 documentation of having received a physical examination based
1 6 on the American academy of pediatrics periodicity schedule for
1 7 five-year-olds.
1 8 EXPLANATION
1 9 This bill requires that a pupil entering kindergarten in
1 10 the public schools provide evidence of having received a
1 11 physical examination based on the American academy of
1 12 pediatrics periodicity schedule for five-year-olds.
