  1  1    Section 1.  Section 99E.10, subsection 1, unnumbered para-
  1  2 graph 2, Code 1995, is amended to read as follows:
  1  3    Lottery expenses for marketing, educational, and
  1  4 informational material shall not exceed four percent the
  1  5 amount of the gross lottery revenue contributed to the
  1  6 gamblers assistance fund as provided in paragraph "a".  
  1  7                           EXPLANATION
  1  8    This bill limits the lottery expenses for marketing,
  1  9 educational, and informational material to the amount
  1 10 contributed to the gamblers assistance fund which currently
  1 11 equals three-tenths of one percent of the gross lottery
  1 12 revenue.
