  1  1    Section 1.  Section 468.506, subsection 2, Code 1995, is
  1  2 amended to read as follows:
  1  3    2.  The bona fide owner of nonagricultural land in the
  1  4 election district for which the trustee is elected, and a
  1  5 resident of that district.  This subsection applies only when
  1  6 the election district is wholly within the corporate limits of
  1  7 a city.  
  1  8                           EXPLANATION
  1  9    This bill allows a city resident who is an owner of
  1 10 nonagricultural land in the city and within a drainage
  1 11 district to qualify as a trustee of that drainage district.
