  1  1    Amend House File 2447 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 5, by inserting after line 31 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  NEW SECTION.  476.58  ELECTRICITY
  1  5 GENERATED WITHIN STATE.
  1  6    A rate-regulated electric utility shall purchase
  1  7 any available electricity generated within the state,
  1  8 including electricity generated by alternate energy
  1  9 production facilities or small hydro facilities, prior
  1 10 to purchasing electricity generated from outside the
  1 11 state."
  1 12    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
