  1  1    Amend Senate File 2153, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, line 5, by striking the words "academy
  1  4 and who" and inserting the following:  "academy,".
  1  5    #2.  Page 1, line 6, by inserting after the word
  1  6 "better" the following:  ", and were employed on or
  1  7 before January 1, 1996, as chief of police of a city
  1  8 in this state with a population of twenty thousand or
  1  9 more".
