  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-5515, to Senate File 2245,
  1  2 as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 35, by striking lines 24 through 26 and
  1  5 inserting the following:
  1  6    "Sec.    .  IOWA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT
  1  7 SYSTEM – DEVELOPMENT OF PROPOSALS FOR ESTABLISHING A
  1  8 DEFINED CONTRIBUTION OPTION AND FOR CONVERTING THE
  1  9 SYSTEM INTO A DEFINED CONTRIBUTION PLAN – REPORT.
  1 10 The Iowa".
  1 11    #2.  Page 35, line 32, by inserting after the word
  1 12 "system" the following:  "in addition to the current
  1 13 defined benefit plan and a proposal concerning various
  1 14 alternatives for converting the Iowa public employees'
  1 15 retirement system into a defined contribution plan by
  1 16 terminating the current defined benefit plan and
  1 17 establishing a defined contribution plan".
  1 18    #3.  Page 35, line 37, by striking the words "a
  1 19 proposal, or proposals," and inserting the following:
  1 20 "proposals".
  1 21    #4.  Page 35, line 38, by inserting after the word
  1 22 "option" the following:  "and for converting the Iowa
  1 23 public employees' retirement system into a defined
  1 24 contribution plan".
  1 25    #5.  Page 35, line 40, by striking the words
  1 26 "proposal or".
  1 27    #6.  By renumbering as necessary.
