Page 3, line 7, by striking the word "school," 1 4 and inserting the following: "school, including a 1 5 person who has been expelled from school by the board 1 6 of directors of a school district or the authorities 1 7 in charge of an accredited nonpublic school,". 1 8 #2. Page 3, by inserting after line 18 the 1 9 following: "The board of directors of a school 1 10 district and the authorities in charge of an 1 11 accredited nonpublic school shall submit to the state 1 12 department of transportation the names of students 1 13 expelled from school in the district or from a 1 14 nonpublic school." 1 15 #3. Page 4, line 13, by striking the words "is 1 16 under the age of twelve and". 1 17 #4. Page 4, line 15, by inserting after the word 1 18 "failed" the following: "to take reasonable 1 19 measures". 1 20 #5. Page 4, line 19, by inserting after the word 1 21 "failed" the following: "to take reasonable 1 22 measures". 1 23 #6. Page 4, lines 21 and 22, by striking the words 1 24 ", for each violation established". 1 25 #7. Page 4, line 23, by striking the word "Funds" 1 26 and inserting the following: "Fifty percent of the 1 27 funds". 1 28 #8. Page 4, line 25, by inserting after the word 1 29 "action" the following: "and the other fifty percent 1 30 shall be paid to the board of directors of the child's 1 31 school district of residence to be used for purposes 1 32 of dropout prevention programs". 1 33 #9. Page 6, by inserting after line 26 the 1 34 following: 1 35 "In lieu of the civil penalty or fine provided for 1 36 under this subsection, the court may order the person 1 37 to perform unpaid community service." 1 38 #10.
