PAG LIN
  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-5470, to House File 2369 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 42 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "5.  In addition to providing group B streptococcus
  1  6 information and testing, the following additional
  1  7 tests shall be routinely performed during pregnancy:
  1  8    a.  During an initial patient visit with a
  1  9 physician providing prenatal care:
  1 10    (1)  Blood typing, including rh factor.
  1 11    (2)  Antibody screen
  1 12    (3)  Complete blood count.
  1 13    (4)  Urine test, protein and sugar.
  1 14    (5)  Hepatitis B antigen.
  1 15    (6)  Syphilis test.
  1 16    (7)  Gonorrhea and chlamydia, where indicated.
  1 17    (8)  German measles immunity.
  1 18    b.  At fifteen weeks' gestation, serum alpha-
  1 19 fetoprotein test.
  1 20    c.  At twenty-six weeks' gestation:
  1 21    (1)  Glucose challenge screening for diabetes.
  1 22    (2)  Syphilis and diabetes recheck, when indicated.
  1 23    d.  At a point during pregnancy determined
  1 24 appropriate by the physician providing prenatal care:
  1 25    (1)  Amniocentesis.
  1 26    (2)  Chorronic villus sampling.
  1 27    (3)  Pap smear.
  1 28    (4)  Herpes culture.
  1 29    (5)  Tay Sach's screening.
  1 30    (6)  Sickle cell screening.
  1 31    (7)  Tuberculosis screening.
  1 32    (8)  Hemoglobin-electrophoresis.
  1 33    (9)  Protime.
  1 34    (10)  Partial thromboplastintime prothrombintime.
  1 35    (11)  General chemistry screening.
  1 36    (12)  HIV screening.
  1 37    (13)  Glycohemoglobin.
  1 38    (14)  Serum iron.
  1 39    (15)  Stool screening.
  1 40    (16)  Thyroid function studies.
  1 41    (17)  TORCH battery.
  1 42    (18)  Toxoplasmosis titers.
  1 43    (19)  Varicella titers.
  1 44    (20)  Ferritin."
