1 1 Amend House File 2477 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 11, by striking lines 29 and 30 and
1 3 inserting the following: "general fund but shall be
1 4 distributed as follows:
1 5 1. To the state board of regents for the fiscal
1 6 year beginning July 1, 1996, and ending June 30, 1997,
1 7 the sum of $20,000 to be allocated to the southwest
1 8 Iowa graduate studies center for an Internet
1 9 connection and a computer laboratory.
1 10 2. To the department of education for the fiscal
1 11 year beginning July 1, 1996, and ending June 30, 1997,
1 12 any funds remaining from the appropriation made under
1 13 this subsection after distribution pursuant to
1 14 subsection 1, which shall be used for purposes of
1 15 providing grants to support".
1 16 #2. Page 12, line 33, by striking the figure
1 17 "74,156" and inserting the following: "84,156".
1 18 #3. Page 17, line 25, by striking the figure
1 19 "19,280,398" and inserting the following:
1 20 "19,270,398".
1 21 #4. By renumbering, relettering, and redesignating
1 22 as necessary.
