1 1 Amend House File 579 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 13, by striking lines 1 through 9 and
1 3 inserting the following: "open enrollment. In lieu
1 4 of membership in a state health or medical group
1 5 insurance plan, a member of the general assembly may
1 6 elect to receive reimbursement for the costs paid by
1 7 the member for a continuation of a group coverage
1 8 (COBRA) health or medical insurance plan. The member
1 9 shall apply for reimbursement by submitting evidence
1 10 of payment for a COBRA health or medical insurance
1 11 plan. The maximum reimbursement shall be no greater
1 12 than the state's contribution for health or medical
1 13 insurance family plan II. A member".
