  1  1    Amend House File 579 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 13, by striking lines 1 through 9 and
  1  3 inserting the following:  "open enrollment.  A member
  1  4 of the general assembly may elect to receive
  1  5 reimbursement for the costs of a continuation of a
  1  6 group coverage (COBRA) health or medical insurance
  1  7 plan.  Upon submitting evidence of payments for a
  1  8 COBRA health or medical insurance plan to the office
  1  9 of chief clerk or secretary of the senate, as
  1 10 applicable, the member shall be reimbursed.  A
  1 11 member".
