  1  1    Amend House File 567 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 2, line 20, by inserting after the words
  1  3 "hydro facilities" the following:  "and investor-owned
  1  4 utilities shall be prohibited from entering into
  1  5 contracts with any other energy-producing facility for
  1  6 the purchase of electricity.  Contracts for the
  1  7 purchase of electric energy which are in effect on the
  1  8 effective date of this Act shall remain in effect."
