  1  1    Amend Senate File 459, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 30, by striking lines 11 through 18 and
  1  4 inserting the following:
  1  5    "b.  For each fiscal year, a judicial collection
  1  6 estimate for that fiscal year shall be equally and
  1  7 proportionally divided into a quarterly amount.  The
  1  8 judicial collection estimate shall be calculated by
  1  9 using the state revenue estimating conference estimate
  1 10 made by December 15 pursuant to section 8.22A,
  1 11 subsection 3, of the total amount of fines, fees,
  1 12 civil penalties, costs, surcharges, and other revenues
  1 13 collected by judicial officers and court employees for
  1 14 deposit into the general fund of the state.  The
  1 15 revenue estimating conference estimate shall be
  1 16 reduced by the maximum amounts allocated to the Iowa
  1 17 prison infrastructure fund pursuant to section
  1 18 602.8108A, and the court technology fund pursuant to
  1 19 section 602.8108, and the remainder shall be the
  1 20 judicial collection estimate."
  1 21    #2.  Page 30, line 19, by striking the word and
  1 22 figure "subsection 1."
  1 23    #3.  Page 30, line 24, by inserting after the
  1 24 figure "602.8108A" the following:  "and into the court
  1 25 technology fund pursuant to section 602.8108".
  1 26    #4.  Page 30, line 31, by inserting after the word
  1 27 "fund." the following:  "If the revenue estimating
  1 28 conference agrees to a different estimate at a later
  1 29 meeting which projects a lesser amount of revenue than
  1 30 the initial estimate amount used to calculate the
  1 31 judicial collection estimate, the director of revenue
  1 32 and finance shall recalculate the judicial collection
  1 33 estimate accordingly."
