1 3 #1. Page 28, by inserting after line 22 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "9. The division of highway safety, uniformed
1 6 force, and radio communications may expend an amount
1 7 proportional to the costs that are reimbursable from
1 8 the highway safety patrol fund created in section
1 9 80.41, as enacted by this Act. Spending for these
1 10 costs may occur from any unappropriated funds in the
1 11 state treasury upon a finding by the department of
1 12 management that all of the amounts requested and
1 13 approved are reimbursable from the highway safety
1 14 patrol fund. Upon payment to the highway safety
1 15 patrol fund, the division of highway safety, uniformed
1 16 force, and radio communications shall credit the
1 17 payments necessary to reimburse the state treasury.
1 18 10. In addition to other amounts appropriated, for
1 19 payment to the department of personnel for expenses
1 20 incurred in administering the merit system on behalf
1 21 of the division of highway safety, uniformed force,
1 22 and radio communications:
