  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-3610, to House File 518 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 9, by inserting after line 7 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  NEW SECTION.  476.30_  DISPLACED
  1  6 EMPLOYEE RETRAINING.
  1  7    A local exchange company operating under a plan of
  1  8 price regulation pursuant to section 476.30B shall
  1  9 provide in the plan for the retraining of employees of
  1 10 the local exchange carrier who are not retained as
  1 11 employees of the carrier as a result of the
  1 12 implementation of and operation under the plan, and
  1 13 for the expenditures of funds by the carrier which are
  1 14 necessary for such training."
  1 15    #2.  Renumber as necessary.
