1 2 #1. Page 9, by striking lines 21 through 30 and
1 3 inserting the following:
1 4 "For allocating $450,000 for funding, to the extent
1 5 possible, the currently existing high technology
1 6 apprenticeship programs under section 260C.44 at the
1 7 community colleges, and for the purposes of the
1 8 workforce investment program, for a competitive grant
1 9 program by the department in consultation with the
1 10 state job training coordinating council for projects
1 11 that increase Iowa's pool of available labor via
1 12 training and support services with priority given to
1 13 projects which serve displaced homemakers or welfare
1 14 recipients, including salaries and support for not
1 15 more than the following full-time equivalent
1 16 positions:
