  1  1    Amend House File 528 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 7, by inserting after line 4 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 232.52, subsection 2, paragraph
  1  5 a, subparagraph (3), Code 1995, is amended to read as
  1  6 follows:
  1  7    (3)  If the child is fourteen years of age or
  1  8 older, a fine of up to one-half the amount which could
  1  9 be imposed against an adult if the delinquent act is a
  1 10 public offense and restitution consisting of monetary
  1 11 payment or a work assignment of value to the county or
  1 12 to the public for fees of attorneys appointed to
  1 13 represent the child at public expense pursuant to
  1 14 section 232.11."
  1 15    #2.  Title page, line 1, by inserting after the
  1 16 word "including" the following:  "authorizing the
  1 17 imposition of a fine against a juvenile adjudicated
  1 18 delinquent,".
