  1  1    Amend House File 193 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  By striking page 2, line 5, through page 3,
  1  3 line 9.
  1  4    #2.  Page 4, by inserting after line 12 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "Sec.    .  The department of agriculture and land
  1  7 stewardship shall adopt rules providing for the
  1  8 slaughter of ostriches, rheas, and emus under
  1  9 voluntary inspection.  The rules shall provide for
  1 10 humane slaughter and include a fee schedule for such
  1 11 inspections.  In order to implement this Act, the
  1 12 department shall adopt rules as required under this
  1 13 section to be effective no later than January 1,
  1 14 1996."
  1 15    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
