  1  1    Amend House Joint Resolution 14 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 4, by inserting before line 29 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "SEC. 16.  This Article shall be effective for six
  1  5 years from the date of the general election at which
  1  6 the Article is adopted.  At the general election
  1  7 occurring in the sixth year subsequent to adoption and
  1  8 every general election six years thereafter, the
  1  9 electors of the state qualified to vote for members of
  1 10 the General Assembly shall vote to adopt and ratify
  1 11 this Article."
