1 1 Amend the amendment, H-3109, to House File 2, as
1 2 follows:
1 3 #1. Page 4, line 34, by inserting after the word
1 4 "degree." the following: "If a notice of intent to
1 5 seek the death penalty has been filed, and has not
1 6 been waived prior to trial, at trial each party shall
1 7 have the right to individualized, sequestered,
1 8 counsel-conducted voir dire. The court shall be
1 9 present throughout voir dire proceedings and the
1 10 proceedings shall be recorded and transcribed."
1 11 #2. Page 12, by inserting after line 6 the
1 12 following:
1 13 " . If a notice of intent to seek the death
1 14 penalty has been filed, and has not been waived prior
1 15 to trial, at trial each party shall have the right to
1 16 individualized, sequestered, counsel-conducted voir
1 17 dire. The court shall be present throughout voir dire
1 18 proceedings and the proceedings shall be recorded and
