  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-3109, to House File 2 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 10, by inserting after line 10 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "   .  The victim was a peace officer, as defined
  1  6 under section 801.4, subsection 11, or a former peace
  1  7 officer and the murder is in retaliation for or to
  1  8 prevent the victim from carrying out the victim's
  1  9 official duties."
  1 10    #2.  By numbering, renumbering, and correcting
  1 11 internal references as necessary.
