A bill for an act relating to the rights of victims of criminal acts, by providing that victims receive notice of all proceedings relating to the crime and the transfer of custody of offenders charged with the crime, and giving victims the right to be informed of the progress of the investigation or prosecution and to make oral or written statements at sentencing, and removing special immunity provisions for certain persons. (See Cmte. Bill H.F. 2456)
