The recorder must endorse upon every instrument properly filed for record in the recorder's office, the day, hour, and minute of the filing, and enter in the index the entries required to be entered, except the document reference number where the complete record will appear, and the filing and indexing shall constitute constructive notice to all persons of the rights of the grantees conferred by the instruments.
