7A.19  Legalizing acts of local nature.

A bill which seeks to legalize the acts of any official or board or other official body, in regard to any matter of public nature or for any person or persons, company or corporation, shall not be considered until it is printed as a bill and distributed to members of the general assembly, and the printing shall be without expense to the state. The state printing administrator shall not order any such bill printed until the administrator has received a deposit to cover the cost thereof at the rate which shall be fixed under the current contract for legislative printing for the bills, and shall exclude from the journals all such bills and the newspaper publication of such bill shall be without expense to the state, and same shall not be published until the cost of same has been paid to the secretary of state.
