Development of the agricultural land which is not subject to the restrictions of section 567.3, subsections 1 and 2, because the land or interest in the land was acquired for an immediate or pending use other than farming, shall convert the land to the purpose other than farming, within five years after the acquisition of the agricultural land or the acquisition of the interest in the agricultural land.
