The recorder must keep index books, the pages of which are so divided as to show in parallel columns:
1. Each grantor.
2. Each grantee.
3. The time when the instrument was filed.
4. The date of the instrument.
5. The nature of the instrument.
6. The book and page where the record thereof may be found.
7. The description of the real estate conveyed.
