Every person licensed under this subtitle to practice a profession shall keep the license publicly displayed in the primary place in which the person practices.
This section shall not apply to a person who is licensed in another state and recognized for licensure in this state pursuant to the nurse licensure compact contained in section 152E.1. A person licensed in another state and recognized for licensure in this state pursuant to the compact shall, however, maintain a copy of a license issued by the person's home state available for inspection when engaged in the practice of nursing in this state.
