The department shall furnish each examining board with all articles and supplies required for the public use and necessary to enable said board to perform the duties imposed upon it by law. Such articles and supplies shall be obtained by the department in the same manner in which the regular supplies for the department are obtained and the cost shall be assessed to the examining board. The director of the department of general services shall furnish each examining board with suitable quarters in which to conduct the examination and the cost of the quarters shall be assessed to the examining board.
