The state of Iowa assents to the provisions of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to provide that the United States shall aid the states in fish restoration projects, and for other purposes", approved August 9, 1950, Pub. L. No. 681, and the department may perform acts as necessary to the conduct and establishment of co-operative fish restoration projects, as defined in the Act of Congress, in compliance with the Act and with regulations promulgated by the secretary of the interior under the Act. No funds accruing to the state of Iowa from fishing license fees shall be diverted for any other purposes than as set out in sections 456A.17 and 456A.19.
