All policies or contracts of insurance made or entered into by the company may be made either with or without the seal of the company, but shall be subscribed by the president, or such other officer as may be designated by the directors for that purpose, and be attested to by the secretary of the company. A policy or contract authorized by this chapter shall not be delivered in this state unless it is an individual policy or contract form.
