  1  1    Amend the amendment, S-5384, to the House
  1  2 amendment, S-5383, to Senate File 2298, as amended,
  1  3 passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 8, by inserting after line 26, the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "Of the amount allocated by the state board of
  1  7 regents to Iowa state university of science and
  1  8 technology, $100,000 shall be provided in the form of
  1  9 a grant to the city of Ames to address costs incurred
  1 10 as a result of the violent behavior of students during
  1 11 the 2004 VEISHEA celebration."
