  1  1    Amend Senate File 2299 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, line 1, by inserting after the word
  1  3 "ELDERLY" the following:  "AND DISABILITY".
  1  4    #2.  Page 1, line 4, by inserting after the word
  1  5 "older" the following:  "and Iowans with a disability
  1  6 who are age eighteen to fifty-nine".
  1  7    #3.  Page 1, line 8, by inserting after the word
  1  8 "Iowans" the following:  "and Iowans with a
  1  9 disability".
  1 10    #4.  Page 1, by striking line 18 and inserting the
  1 11 following:  "persons who are elderly or have a
  1 12 disability."
  1 13    #5.  Page 2, line 16, by inserting after the word
  1 14 "senate." the following:  "The members appointed under
  1 15 this paragraph shall also be serving as a senate
  1 16 representative on the commission of elder affairs or
  1 17 the senior living coordinating unit."
  1 18    #6.  Page 2, line 19, by inserting after the word
  1 19 "leader." the following:  "The members appointed under
  1 20 this paragraph shall also be serving as a house
  1 21 representative on the commission of elder affairs or
  1 22 the senior living coordinating unit."
  1 23    #7.  Page 2, by inserting after line 22 the
  1 24 following:
  1 25    "n.  The president of the AARP Iowa chapter or the
  1 26 president's designee.
  1 27    o.  The director of the Iowa governor's
  1 28 developmental disabilities council.
  1 29    p.  The chief executive officer of a multifaceted
  1 30 organization providing home and community-based
  1 31 services, including mental health, mental retardation,
  1 32 housing, and related services."
  1 33    #8.  Title page, line 2, by inserting after the
  1 34 word "elderly" the following:  "and disabled".
