1 1 Amend Senate File 2298 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 64, by inserting after line 9, the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Section 1. Section 260C.14, Code Supplement 2003,
1 5 is amended by adding the following new subsection:
1 6 NEW SUBSECTION. 21. Adopt rules, in addition to
1 7 those residency criteria otherwise adopted in rule, to
1 8 specifically address residency criteria for those
1 9 students who have been accepted for enrollment in a
1 10 community college in this state and who have attended
1 11 an accredited high school in this state for at least
1 12 three academic years as of the date the individual
1 13 graduated from an accredited high school or received a
1 14 high school equivalency diploma in this state."
1 15 #2. Page 64, by inserting after line 25 the
1 16 following:
1 17 "Sec. . Section 262.9, Code Supplement 2003, is
1 18 amended by adding the following new subsection:
1 19 NEW SUBSECTION. 32. Adopt rules, in addition to
1 20 those residency criteria otherwise adopted in rule, to
1 21 specifically address residency criteria for those
1 22 students who have been accepted for enrollment in a
1 23 university under the control of the board and who have
1 24 attended an accredited high school in this state for
1 25 at least three academic years as of the date the
1 26 individual graduated from an accredited high school or
1 27 received a high school equivalency diploma in this
1 28 state."
1 29 #3. By renumbering as necessary.
