1 3 #1. Page 1, by inserting before line 1, the
1 4 following:
1 5 "Section 1. Section 260C.14, Code Supplement 2003,
1 6 is amended by adding the following new subsection:
1 7 NEW SUBSECTION. 21. Adopt rules, in addition to
1 8 those residency criteria otherwise adopted in rule, to
1 9 specifically address residency criteria for those
1 10 students who have been accepted for enrollment in a
1 11 community college in this state and who have attended
1 12 an accredited high school in this state for at least
1 13 three academic years as of the date the individual
1 14 graduated from an accredited high school or received a
1 15 high school equivalency diploma in this state."
1 16 #2. Page 1, by inserting after line 20 the
1 17 following:
1 18 "Sec. . Section 262.9, Code Supplement 2003, is
1 19 amended by adding the following new subsection:
1 20 NEW SUBSECTION. 32. Adopt rules, in addition to
1 21 those residency criteria otherwise adopted in rule, to
1 22 specifically address residency criteria for those
1 23 students who have been accepted for enrollment in a
1 24 university under the control of the board and who have
1 25 attended an accredited high school in this state for
1 26 at least three academic years as of the date the
1 27 individual graduated from an accredited high school or
1 28 received a high school equivalency diploma in this
1 29 state."
1 30 #3. Title page, by striking lines 1 and 2 and
1 31 inserting the following: "An Act relating to the
1 32 duties of the boards of directors of community
1 33 colleges and of the state board of regents regarding
1 34 the".
1 35 #4. By renumbering as necessary.
