  1  1    Amend Senate Joint Resolution 2002 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 3 through 6, and
  1  3 inserting the following:
  1  4    "Article I of the Constitution of the State of Iowa
  1  5 is amended by adding the following new section:
  1  6    MARRIAGE.  SEC. 26.  The rights of a person to
  1  7 marry, to continue the marital relationship, and to
  1  8 enjoy the benefits of marriage shall not be abridged."
