PAG LIN 1 1 Amend Senate File 2251 as follows: 1 2 #1. Page 1, by striking lines 1 through 5, and 1 3 inserting the following: 1 4 "Sec. . Section 103A.7, Code 2003, is amended 1 5 by adding the following new subsection: 1 6 NEW SUBSECTION. 7. Standards for the installation 1 7 of plumbing and for minimum plumbing facilities as 1 8 provided in chapter 104B. The standards adopted shall 1 9 be known as the state plumbing code. 1 10 Sec. . Section 103A.10, subsection 4, Code 1 11 2003, is amended by adding the following new 1 12 paragraph: 1 13 NEW PARAGRAPH. c. Provisions of the state 1 14 building code establishing standards for plumbing 1 15 installations shall be applicable in cities and to a 1 16 building or on premises located outside the corporate 1 17 limits of any city if the building or premises is 1 18 served by an individual connection to a water 1 19 distribution system or wastewater collection system 1 20 serving a municipality. Provisions of the state 1 21 building code establishing minimum requirements for 1 22 plumbing facilities as provided in chapter 104B shall 1 23 apply throughout the state." 1 24 #2. Page 1, line 13, by inserting after the word 1 25 "codes" the following: ", the state plumbing code 1 26 established pursuant to chapter 103A,". 1 27 #3. Page 1, line 15, by striking the words "local 1 28 building codes" and inserting the following: "a local 1 29 buildingcodescode". 1 30 #4. Page 1, by striking lines 16 through 18, and 1 31 inserting the following: "with thestate plumbing1 32code established pursuant to section 135.11 and the1 33 state building code established pursuant to chapter 1 34 103A." 1 35 #5.
