1 2 #1. Page 1, by inserting after line 15 the

1 4 "Sec. ___. NEW SECTION. 321.235B BICYCLE SAFETY
1 5 EDUCATION – APPROPRIATION.
1 6 The state department of transportation, in
1 7 cooperation with the department of education and the
1 8 department of public safety, shall develop a safe kids
1 9 to school program modeled after the program developed
1 10 by the league of American bicyclists and the federal
1 11 highway traffic safety administration. There is
1 12 appropriated from the general fund of the state to the
1 13 department of education for each fiscal year the sum
1 14 of five million dollars for the purpose of initiating
1 15 and maintaining the safe kids to school program."
1 16 #2. Title page, line 1, by inserting after the
1 17 word "highways" the following: ", bicycle safety
1 18 education, making an appropriation,".
1 19 #3. By renumbering as necessary.
