1 5 "Sec. ___. IMPLEMENTATION COSTS. There is
1 6 appropriated from the general fund of the state to the
1 7 designated branch and departments for the indicated
1 8 fiscal years, the following amounts, or so much
1 9 thereof as is necessary, to be used for the purposes
1 10 designated for additional costs resulting from
1 11 implementation of section 232.69, subsection 1,
1 12 unnumbered paragraph 1, as amended by this Act:
1 13 1. For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2003, and
1 14 ending June 30, 2004:
1 15 a. To the judicial branch, including salaries,
1 16 support, maintenance, miscellaneous purposes, and
1 17 additional full-time equivalent positions:
1 18 .................................................. $ 163,000
1 19 b. To the department of corrections for prison and
1 20 probation admissions, including salaries, support,
1 21 maintenance, miscellaneous purposes, and additional
1 22 full-time equivalent positions:
1 23 .................................................. $ 470,000
1 24 Of the amount appropriated in this paragraph "b",
1 25 $10,000 is allocated for costs incurred in the
1 26 judicial district departments of correctional
1 27 services.
1 28 c. To the office of the state public defender of
1 29 the department of inspections and appeals for indigent
1 30 defense costs, including salaries, support,
1 31 maintenance, miscellaneous purposes, and additional
1 32 full-time equivalent positions:
1 33 .................................................. $ 175,000
1 34 2. For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2004, and
1 35 ending June 30, 2005:
1 36 a. To the judicial branch, including salaries,
1 37 support, maintenance, miscellaneous purposes, and
1 38 additional full-time equivalent positions:
1 39 .................................................. $ 324,000
1 40 b. To the department of corrections for prison and
1 41 probation admissions, including salaries, support,
1 42 maintenance, miscellaneous purposes, and additional
1 43 full-time equivalent positions:
1 44 .................................................. $ 1,430,000
1 45 Of the amount appropriated in this paragraph "b",
1 46 $30,000 is allocated for costs incurred in the
1 47 judicial district departments of correctional
1 48 services.

2 13 reporting by requiring members of the clergy to report
