The legislative council may 3 36 authorize the renovation, remodeling and preparation 3 37 of the physical facilities used or to be used by the 3 38 general assembly or legislative agencies subject to 3 39 the jurisdiction of the legislative council and award 3 40 contracts pursuant to such authority to carry out such 3 41 preparation. The legislative council may purchase 3 42 supplies and equipment deemed necessary for the proper 3 43 functioning of the legislative branch of government." 3 44 #30.
