  1  1    Amend Senate File 390 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 6, by striking lines 30 through 35, and
  1  3 inserting the following:  "proposed to be included in
  1  4 the consolidation.  The charter shall only apply to an
  1  5 incorporated area in which a majority of the votes
  1  6 cast on the charter in the incorporated area favors
  1  7 the proposal.  The charter shall only apply to the
  1  8 county if a majority of the votes cast in each of the
  1  9 incorporated areas and in the unincorporated areas of
  1 10 the county favors the proposal.  The consolidation
  1 11 charter shall be effective in regard".
  1 12    #2.  Page 16, by striking lines 17 through 22, and
  1 13 inserting the following:  "participation in the
  1 14 commonwealth charter.  The community commonwealth
  1 15 charter shall only apply to an incorporated area in
  1 16 which a majority of the votes cast on the charter in
  1 17 the incorporated area favors the proposal.  The
  1 18 community commonwealth charter shall only apply to the
  1 19 county if a majority of the votes cast in each of the
  1 20 incorporated areas and in the unincorporated areas of
  1 21 the county favors the proposal."
