PAG LIN 1 1 Amend Senate File 185 as follows: 1 2 #1. Page 1, line 24, by inserting before the word 1 3 "Causing" the following: "1." 1 4 #2. Page 1, lines 30 through 32, by striking the 1 5 words "Arson is also causing by manufacturing or 1 6 attempting to manufacture a controlled substance in 1 7 violation of section 124.401, a fire or explosion that 1 8 destroys property." 1 9 #3. Page 2, by inserting after line 4 the 1 10 following: 1 11 "2. Causing by manufacturing or attempting to 1 12 manufacture a controlled substance in violation of 1 13 section 124.401, a fire or explosion that destroys 1 14 property is arson. Even if a person who owns property 1 15 which the defendant intends to destroy or damage, or 1 16 which the defendant knowingly endangers, consents to 1 17 the defendant's act, and if an insurer has not been 1 18 exposed fraudulently to any risk, and even if the act 1 19 was done in such a way as not to unreasonably endanger 1 20 the life or property of any person, the act 1 21 constitutes arson." 1 22 #4.
