  1  4 RELATING TO THE STATUTORY DUTIES OF THE COMMISSION OF LATINO 
  1  5    AFFAIRS REGARDING SPANISH LANGUAGE INTERPRETER QUALIFICATIONS.

  1  7 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
  1  8 
  1  9    Section 1.  Section 216A.15, subsection 9, Code 2003, is
  1 10 amended to read as follows:
  1 11    9.  Maintain information on Adopt rules, with stakeholder
  1 12 input, pursuant to chapter 17A to develop a mechanism to
  1 13 ensure the qualifications of Spanish language interpreters and
  1 14 maintain and provide a list of those deemed qualified to Iowa
  1 15 courts, or administrative agencies, social service agencies,
  1 16 and health agencies, as requested.
