  1  4 RELATING TO CERTAIN NOTICE REQUIREMENTS FOR COOPERATIVE
  1  5    ASSOCIATIONS RETAINING ABANDONED PROPERTY.

  1  7 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
  1  8 
  1  9    Section 1.  Section 499.30A, subsection 4, unnumbered
  1 10 paragraph 1, Code 2003, is amended to read as follows:
  1 11    Any A disbursement having an aggregate value of fifty
  1 12 dollars or more that is retained by the cooperative
  1 13 association shall be forfeited to the cooperative association
  1 14 only if the cooperative association publishes at least one
  1 15 notice of the abandoned property in a publication regularly
  1 16 distributed to its membership or in a newspaper having a
  1 17 general circulation in the county where the cooperative
  1 18 association is located.  The notice shall include all of the
  1 19 following:
