1 1 Section 1. Section 483A.1A, subsection 7, paragraph d,
1 2 Code 2003, is amended to read as follows:
1 3 d. Is a member of the armed forces of the United States
1 4 who is serving on active duty, claims residency in this state,
1 5 and has filed a state individual income tax return as a
1 6 resident pursuant to chapter 422, division II, for the
1 7 preceding tax year, or is stationed in this state.
1 8 EXPLANATION
1 9 This bill provides that members of the armed forces of the
1 10 United States who are serving on active duty and are stationed
1 11 in this state shall be considered residents for the purpose of
1 12 purchasing hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses or licenses
1 13 for related activities.
