1 1 Amend the amendment, H-8573, to House File 2578 as
1 2 follows:
1 3 #1. Page 5, by inserting after line 50 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "Sec. . 2004 Iowa Acts, Senate File 2298,
1 6 section 2, subsection 1, if enacted, is amended by
1 7 striking the subsection and inserting in lieu thereof
1 8 the following:
1 9 1. There is appropriated from the general fund of
1 10 the state to the department of administrative services
1 11 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2004, and ending
1 12 June 30, 2005, the following amount, or so much
1 13 thereof as is necessary, to be used for the purposes
1 14 designated:
1 15 For start-up funding for revolving funds under the
1 16 control of the department of administrative services
1 17 and for salaries, support, maintenance, and
1 18 miscellaneous purposes:
1 19 .................................................. $ 1,889,610
1 20 Notwithstanding any provision of this section to
1 21 the contrary, the department of administrative
1 22 services shall deposit $1,889,610 in the general fund
1 23 of the state from moneys in departmental revolving
1 24 funds and internal service funds at the end of the
1 25 fiscal year."
