  1  1    Amend House File 2578 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 19, by inserting after line 2 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec. ___.  GENERAL FUND TRANSFER – CASA PROGRAM.
  1  5 Of the amount appropriated from the general fund of
  1  6 the state for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2004,
  1  7 in 2004 Iowa Acts, Senate File 2298, Division I, to
  1  8 the department of management for federal overrecovery,
  1  9 $400,000 shall be transferred to the department of
  1 10 inspections and appeals, child advocacy board, to be
  1 11 used to address a federal funding reduction affecting
  1 12 the court appointed special advocate program."
  1 13    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
