1 2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
1 3 #1. Page 145, by inserting after line 11 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "Sec. . Section 331.438, subsection 4,
1 6 paragraph b, Code 2003, is amended by adding the
1 7 following new subparagraph:
1 8 NEW SUBPARAGRAPH. (16) Develop a procedure for
1 9 each county to disclose to the department of human
1 10 services information approved by the commission
1 11 concerning the mental health, mental retardation,
1 12 developmental disabilities, and brain injury services
1 13 provided to the individuals served through the county
1 14 central point of coordination process. The procedure
1 15 shall incorporate protections to ensure that if
1 16 individually identified information is disclosed, it
1 17 is disclosed and maintained in compliance with
1 18 applicable Iowa and federal confidentiality laws,
1 19 including but not limited to federal Health Insurance
1 20 Portability and Accountability Act requirements."
