  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-8072, to House File 2302 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 12, by inserting after line 21 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  Section 99F.4A, subsection 2, Code
  1  6 2003, is amended by striking the subsection."
  1  7    #2.  Page 16, by inserting after line 15 the
  1  8 following:
  1  9    "Sec.    .  Section 99F.7, subsection 10, paragraph
  1 10 c, Code 2003, is amended to read as follows:
  1 11    c.  If a licensee of a pari-mutuel racetrack who
  1 12 held a valid license issued under chapter 99D as of
  1 13 January 1, 1994, requests a license to operate
  1 14 gambling games as provided in this chapter, the board
  1 15 of supervisors of a county in which the licensee of a
  1 16 pari-mutuel racetrack requests a license to operate
  1 17 gambling games shall submit to the county electorate a
  1 18 proposition to approve or disapprove the operation of
  1 19 gambling games at pari-mutuel racetracks at a special
  1 20 election at the earliest practicable time.  If the
  1 21 operation of gambling games at the pari-mutuel
  1 22 racetrack is not approved by a majority of the county
  1 23 electorate voting on the proposition at the election,
  1 24 the commission shall not issue a license to operate
  1 25 gambling games at the racetrack."
  1 26    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
