1 1 Amend House File 2302 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 1, by inserting before line 1 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Section 1. Section 8.57, subsection 5, paragraph
1 5 e, Code Supplement 2003, is amended by adding the
1 6 following new unnumbered paragraph:
1 7 NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH. If the total amount of
1 8 moneys directed to be deposited in the general fund of
1 9 the state under sections 99D.17 and 99F.11 in a fiscal
1 10 year is more than the total amount of moneys estimated
1 11 to be deposited under those sections for that fiscal
1 12 year by the revenue estimating conference as of the
1 13 last meeting of the conference prior to that fiscal
1 14 year, the first two million dollars of the difference
1 15 shall be credited to the Iowa empowerment fund created
1 16 in section 28.9 and used for grants to child care
1 17 centers licensed under chapter 237A."
1 18 #2. Title page, line 6, by inserting after the
1 19 words "treatment funds" the following: ", Iowa
1 20 empowerment fund,".
1 21 #3. By renumbering as necessary.
