  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-8003, to House File 2039 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, line 13, by inserting after the word
  1  4 "year." the following:  "However, if the amount of the
  1  5 surplus existing in the general fund of the state at
  1  6 the conclusion of a fiscal year is less than two
  1  7 percent of the adjusted revenue estimate for that
  1  8 fiscal year, the amount of the appropriation made in
  1  9 this paragraph shall be equal to fifty percent of the
  1 10 surplus amount."
